As a young child, Chris reluctantly practiced piano and violin. Discouraged by strict teachers who scolded and slapped his fingers, he lost all interest and quit. However, A secret crush on a girl led him to pick up the oboe, with an amazing teacher who changed his life. Determined to win her attention, he embarked on a summer adventure, immersing himself in the intense study of the oboe under the guidance of an exceptional teacher. This transformative mentor celebrated his mistakes, encouraging him to learn from them and practice until he mastered the instrument. Soon, Chris fell in love with music and aspired to become like his extraordinary oboe teacher.

Though the girl in the band had moved to a different city by the time he returned to school, Chris's passion for music remained steadfast.

Moved by his story, our kids showcased their own musical talents—Artur with the violin, Marcin with the guitar, Joshua with the recorder, and Alex with the piano. Chris was overjoyed witnessing their passionate commitment to music, regardless of their skill levels.
