Magic has been keeping me creative!

All humans are born with creative powers but unless we practice them actively those powers diminish over time. Research shows that this sad reality happens the most significantly between the age of 5 and 10. As adults, it’s even harder to remain creative and keep our brains seeking creative desires.

John Jun, a hobbyist magician, suggests that having some hobbies and developing a passion for those could help people remain creative. Magic has been that creativity trigger for him for over 30 years. He works at Samsung as a serious business person. However, when he has his free time, he works on new magic tricks and also gives shows to his church groups and other charity organizations.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our kids could find their innate calling and pursue those throughout their lives? These don’t necessarily need to be jobs although if that happens, that is even more wonderful. They could remain as hobbies that give them lots of joy and purpose.
